Use Mirrors to Bring Light into the Kitchen

Maybe you’re really lucky and your sink is under the window. Washing the dishes is that little more enjoyable when you can watch the world go by outside.

But if your sink is in the middle of a wall, it can make the kitchen a little dark. Bring some light to the space by hanging a mirror above the sink.

It also has the handy dual function of letting you see what’s going on behind you. So you can keep an eye on the children drawing at the kitchen table.

In fact, you can really upgrade your kitchen by hauling out those subway tiles.

Add mirrors to your backsplash instead. Bring more light into the kitchen and make those walls recede.
